I'm a storyteller and narrative futurist working at the edge of the imagination age — a cultural inflection point in which our relationship to story, myth, and collective meaning will determine what we build next. As a speaker, strategist, and advisor, I help organizations excavate and rebuild their narrative architectures from the root — moving beyond messaging and brand story toward the deeper mythic structures that shape culture. My clients span arts, media, technology, and purpose: a range that includes deep tech startups, climate scientists, Yo-Yo Ma, Disney, Nike, the United Nations — and (my favorite) TED. My path to this work is wildly non-linear: political philosopher, unlikely Disney executive (I went from writing critically about the Princess Industrial Complex to leading a Princess Task Force), co-founder of a venture-backed Gen Z media startup named one of the world's most innovative companies by Fast Company (Beyoncé was an investor, which made my tween daughter very proud), and now CEO of StoryQuo, an emerging ecosystem of aligned creatives building the infrastructure for story innovation, including immersive experiences, narrative learning, and the kind of imaginative experimentation the next era demands. I speak and consult on storytelling, narrative futurism, imagination architectures, and the future of story as a civilizational force. I'm currently obsessed with co-creating what I think of as Disney for Good: a values-forward media ecosystem for the imagination age, built on the belief that the people who shape our stories shape our world — and that it's time the right people were in that room. I am forever going on pilgrimages. This is one of them.
