Bio
Born and raised as a refugee, Tenzin's roots traces back to Tibet. Tenzin is the co-founder & CEO of Kinstep, a social enterprise that matches immigrants with employment in their local community. Tenzin studied at University of Oxford as the first Tibetan-American Rhodes Scholar. She has spent her career advocating for disenfranchised migrant communities around the world, most recently at the United Nations in Asia-Pacific.
Tenzin is also a scholar, serving as visiting lecturer at both University of California, Berkeley and Rangsit University. Tenzin’s work has been recognized around the world - as a World Economic Forum Global Shaper, a Harry S. Truman Scholar, and one of OZY Magazine’s “5 Civil-Rights Leaders for a New Generation.”
