Prem Sewak Sudhish

Prem Sewak Sudhish teaches Computer Science at Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI), India. He has a B.S. in Engineering with distinction from DEI and an M.S. from Stanford University, USA. He has nearly two decades of experience in teaching and is an avid aficionado of technology-enabled democratization and internationalization of education. He teaches cryptography, biometrics, machine intelligence, and theoretical computer science and his research interest is in security systems, soft computing, and machine consciousness. His prior experience includes entrepreneurship, academic administration, and consultation on biometric authentication to the Unique Identification Authority of India and the Principal Investigator for Government of India projects under the National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology. Through his collaborations with Stanford University and Michigan State University, he has actively been engaged in development and deployment of tools and technologies with a special focus on uplift of rural and tribal population in India. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and a life member of the Systems Society of India (SSI) and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
