I love adventure, travel, hiking, architecture, getting out of my comfort zone and pushing my personal peak. My best experiences in life are a result of just saying “yes”! I live in the redwood forest between San Jose and Santa Cruz. It’s magical and it brings peace to my soul after 15 years in San Francisco. It had also also awakened the adventure and exploring gene in my two kids 8/10. I am the founder and CEO of a company called Selling Energy, and I enjoy it because I like to create something out of nothing and figure things out. We teach people in the energy efficiency and electrification space how to get their projects approved and technology adopted in the commercial and industrial markets. For fun, I like to design and remodel houses and explore the world. My company is leading the effort to transform the way sales training is designed and delivered. We are focused on improving efficiency, creating jobs, and boosting the economy through developing a workforce to fill what is now the second hardest job to hire for... all while turbocharging the success of the individuals and organizations we work with. I am the co-author of the Wall Street Journal best-selling book Selling Energy: Inspiring Ideas That Get Projects Approved!. A fun fact, I self-published this book and learned what to do while reading Guy Kawasaki’s book APE on my phone while nursing a newborn… and our sales were right behind Sheryl Sanberg’s Lean In book at the time. I’m pretty proud of that. I am an active member of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO) and received Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Architectural Studies from the University of Utah and a Master’s degree in International Management with a specialization in Corporate Sustainability from Portland State University. An unexpected mix that has landed me exactly where I am today.
