Shabria Bint Saif

I am just a student at the moment, but I would love to foster my aptitude for learning lifelong, as I am someone who is always curious and willing to learn new things to grow and better herself. Besides, I believe in being dedicated and steadfast in all aspects of my life: to people, I am reliable and friendly, and at work, I am a result-driven but process-oriented person (meticulous, yet ambitious). Currently, I am enrolled in my second year of undergraduate studies with BA in Politics, Philosophy and Economics (PPE). With this, I am looking forward to building a successful career in the Humanitarian field, and nurture my keen interest in work and ability for taking up new challenges that have led me to develop many skills like management, problem-solving, interpersonal and organization skills.

I am passionate about mental health and child psychology, so I look forward to working with and for underprivileged children who do not have access to quality education, so that I can play a part in uplifting them from their circumstances and empowering them with soft and hard skills that are required in the 21st century; in short, I wish to ensure that no child is left behind in pursuing a safe, happy, and successful life.

Being result-driven and process-oriented are both equally important - be ambitious to achieve a target yet meticulous in ensuring every detail is addressed; this has helped me to be patient with the timeline of achieving my goal and encouraged me to persist determinedly towards it regardless of the challenges and obstacles I may face in between.
