Bio

My missions are: 1. Putting nature first in everything I do and help others to do. 2. Making science accessible for the broadest possible audience. 3. Igniting curiosity and inspiring courageous thinking. 4. Enabling and empowering people and organisations to drive positive change and combat environmental destruction. --- I try to focus my time on projects for the future of life on Earth. I studied chemistry and biophysics at Oxford, spent some time as a strategy consultant and then went into the music industry. A lost dog in Wales led to the offer of a slot at Glastonbury and one thing led to another. In my spare time, I'd begun communicating science, gave a TEDxLondon talk and built up a following on Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. As my following grew, I stopped writing music and decided to focus on something with a much louder calling: the climate and nature emergency. I planned campaigns, like #NoBeef, and another that resulted in the UK government 100x'ing their reforestation plans. To accelerate my climate and nature work, in 02020, I co-founded AimHi Earth. AimHi Earth's purpose is to ignite the desire to learn what matters. What matters right now is the climate and nature emergency. Three years on, and we've changed the direction of companies, the kits of football players, the speeches of Olympic medallists, the funding strategy of charities and the output of broadcasters. Our model is shifting behaviours and mindsets at a remarkable rate (our impact stats speak for themselves), and I'm excited to bring it to more organisations and people around the world. We're lucky to be supported in this work by Cambridge Zero, the UNEP, the Eden Project and a longer list of friends whom we'd be nowhere without.

An idea worth spreading

02023: There's no shortage of good information; only a shortage of good questions. 02021: Mobility gives us the illusion of somehow being separate from the Earth.
