The TED story
I attended a Tedx event in my school in 2015. A student speaker from our school had talked about how competitive exams like the SAT or GMAT do not allow students to nurture their independent thinking. But rather restricts their span of thinking to an answer that the examiner requires them to write. This invoked me to question my textbook content, and believe in myself to think as much as i can and learn through real life examples. It has helped me understand my subjects better and gain more knowledge.
