my personal needs and desires are limited things, and they don’t merit unlimited commitment. At some point, the voice says “enough is enough already!”, and I’ll probably agree.
But my life isn’t about my personal desires or needs — those kinds of concerns are important, but they aren’t the fundamental values that I want to serve.
My vision for life isn’t personal… It’s about the awakening of humanity, it’s about the problem of human suffering, it’s about the possibilities available to humans that go unexplored because we’re too busy fighting over trivial symbols of identity.
