As a singer/songwriter I want to raise awareness about the portrayal of gender stereotypes in the media and encourage men and women to speak up against sexualisation and abuse. The MaLisa Foundation helps to finance research and content that helps to bring women's rights into our consciousness.

The effect music and lyrics have on our conscious and unconscious sexual behavior and perception of own identity. It affected me a lot as a young girl and in my work as an artist I want to experiment with a more diverse display of femininity and sexuality.

Let's change the way women's bodies and sexuality are portrayed in music videos and song lyrics that girls and boys consume during their childhood.
