Bio
As a marketing graduate, my passion for business, digital marketing, and #SocialMedia runs deep - I wouldn't mind making a living selling hashtags!
My outgoing personality has allowed me to excel in verbal communication, which has been instrumental in developing my creativity. Marketing, in all its forms, has always fascinated me, whether it be in the digital realm or real-world applications. As the head of the Seminar Cell during my time at university, I honed my skills in public relations, social media, media relations, community engagement, and team leadership. Additionally, I co-organized the first-ever TEDx event at my university, TEDxAmityUniversityDubai 2017.
Ever since I was a child, I have been a natural storyteller. I started by sharing simple tales with anyone who would listen, but over time, I have honed my craft and now share complex stories with much larger audiences. My imagination and creative flair are my greatest assets as a writer, and my blog posts consistently entertain and engage my readers. One day, I hope to write a book about my unique life experiences.

The TED story
I spent my childhood being fat-shamed by my relatives and ‘friends’, who thought it was their duty to remind me of my 'unhealthy' size. As an NRI kid in India, it was even worse - I was met with disapproving looks at every turn. But every summer vacation, it got even more absurd. They dragged me to a different 'doctor' who would put me on a new fad diet - from the 'cucumber diet' to the 'lemon water cleanse'. And did any of it work? Absolutely not. Instead, I was left with a messed up metabolism and low self-esteem.
Often I would joke saying when all of this is over, I could write a book about it. Well someday I actually might. That's my TED story - debunking the toxic stories of what it means to live in a world that is constantly against your own battle with self image
