I have created my own TED story! I have not been to a TED event (yet!), but as I am so inspired by many of the posted talks, I started my own mini TED event at Colorado College in the Information Technology Division called "TED O'clock." Once a month on a Friday at 10:00 (of course!), a TED talk is shown with discussion that follows. I have led many of the discussions, but others in our division are also recommending talks to watch and leading those discussions. It provides us a short period of time (half an hour) where those in our division can get away and discuss something that may help change their outlook or point of view, or just think about things that may help them in their work or personal lives.
