At the heart of my work (and life) is a question: What trances do we mistake for truth, and what’s possible when we break the spell? Through my ventures, writing, and speaking, I create spaces that help us shift from doing what’s expected to doing what matters – for ourselves, for each other, and for the future we’re shaping. I thrive at the interfaces, where fields cross-pollinate, inner growth drives outer impact, and ancient wisdom shapes future flourishing. For two decades, I’ve built organizations that accompany young people on the cusp of adulthood – turning this transition into a transformation. Today, I’m co-creating The Flight School where we cultivate wisdom and courage to navigate a world in transition. Through our courses and community, we’re equipping the rising generation to move from dwindled to kindled, alone to accompanied, and fearful to free. I’ve been featured in The New York Times, NPR, and PBS, and named by Ashoka, Fast Company and Goldman Sachs as one of the world’s leading entrepreneurs. I serve as a Fellow at Stanford and an Advisor to Harvard Business School. These experiences make my work legible. What makes it credible is everything that can’t be credentialed: what I’ve learned from silence and grief, from teachers without titles, and from choosing (again and again) to pause, look up, and leap. In another lifetime, I might have been a forest monk, a rabbi, or a rockstar. In this one, I’m turning ceilings into skylights and inviting us all to fly. ✨
