About Valentino

I am a…

Business leader, Connector, Idea generator, Marketer, Social entrepreneur

Bio

I'm 27 years old. My commitment is to students from Italian schools, from primary to college, with the goal of involving the best talents in public speaking, debating, and confronting adult people on topics that are generally not addressed in school. In every educational project I realize, we discuss the issues of the struggle against bullying and the fight against organized crime, with play and play activities, with the aim of teaching the children civic education, respect for the institutions, the relationship between the Individuals and the beauty of being human.

I'm passionate about

I like sports, but I'm fallig in love with basketball. At 19 years old i reached all the possible roles that an Italian person can pursue in a Basketball career. I did the player from 6 to 24 years old. At 14 teen I became a referee. At 15 teen I became a coach. At 16 teen I became a manager. At 19 teen I became a President.

An idea worth spreading

People don't talk each other if they're not the same group of age, teenagers talks within teens, and thirty do the same, etc. I would like to talk about that talks between different generations is a must to do in this new era.

The TED story

Asking a PR, or rather a digital PR specialist, what his job implies will run the risk of receiving a strange and different answer each time. It would be trivial to reduce everything to the classic "meet people, I say things", this profession is a lot more. In my professional life I had the pleasure of shaking many hands: from Ban Ki Moon to Roberto Baggio, from the startup to the Ferrero president. And so for hundreds of times and hundreds of hands. I had the pleasure to sit alongside people whom I only read in magazines and newspapers until a few months ago. Or I had followed some radio and news interviews. I had the opportunity to perceive the emotions and feelings of these people watching and listening to them, my goal being to understand their thoughts and to grasp the need to present them with the perfect winning strategy. It's not just about social issues. The digital pr specialist works offline. Social networks give you the opportunity to meet and stay in touch, to feel more and more often in the day with people who are not often able to reach. All this happens digitally, with apps or websites. Social networks have given us the opportunity to exchange information quickly as a student exchanges notes with classmates, employee working papers. The place where moms tell them anecdotes about their children. In a digital society that drives us to talk to people like us, the student talks to the student, the manager talks to the manager about the mother with the mother (and so on), the relationship Humanity still gives us the opportunity to interact with different people. If you want to do this job, I mean the work of the digital PR specialist, there is only one rule to be respected in dealing with people, and I emphasize that I respect: take notes. I hated to get around the agenda, when I was little I hated even reading. I hated everything that was written, because I thought everything could stay in my head. Until the age of 19 I always considered the agendas and the notes as a defect. I thought people took notes because they were not good at remembering. But what did I actually remember? Not important things. My first agenda, strictly squares. All I could write during a meeting or a meeting, I wrote. From there shortly I realized that what I wrote was a repetition of what was said. Nothing more. Yes, it was written, but it was confused and I did not understand the added value. With the second agenda things went better. I removed the squares and went to the rows. The notes were in order, all written line by line, as was a dictation. That things were more orderly did not mean they were simpler to remember. I was committed to bringing any nuances to this or that meeting. The effort involved in remembering everything that had happened, any smile or crooked look. Definitely tiring to remember and memorize. With the third agenda turn. My new agenda is all white. It does not have rows and does not have squares. I'm not just writing words, my notes are the set of emotions and feelings that people experience, what happens when we talk. The strategy starts with them, from transmitting passion and value. Then it becomes digital and turns into a communication campaign, but comes from a meeting. This is what a digital pr specialist specializes: meets people, takes notes, and creates value.
