About Tobit
Bio
Tobit is Managing Partner for Research and Development at Devon Partnership NHS Trust and an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Exeter. At the Devon Partnership he oversees several million pounds of successful mental health and dementia research activity, and a team of 30 staff. He received his MSc (a meta-narrative review on suicide and media) from the University of Exeter in 2010.
His field of interest includes complex trial delivery, suicide and self-harm, technology, digitalisation, social media, Internet safety (particularly how this relates to vulnerable young adults and/or those with mental health problems), dementia and community wellbeing.
Tobit has worked on the TEDxExeter team from pretty much day one, having managed production for a couple of years, filming and for the last few years on the speaker team.
Tobit also enjoys running ridiculously long distances, kayaking, climbing, and wrangling his three children.
