The TED story
My first TED Experience was approximately 15-years ago in Monterey, and I have gone every year since to both Long Beach and now Vancouver. There were very few women in attendance back then and I started a tradition of encouraging great women to attend and to gather together. I was at the first TEDWomen in DC where Sheryl Sandberg's talk-- to this day-- still is top of mind. I've sponsored and advised TEDWomen ever since. My favorite TED talk on the main stage was Mellody Hobson's "Be Color Brave, Not Color Blind".
