Bio
Diana Saville is the Co-Founder and COO of BrainMind, a community of top brain scientists, entrepreneurs, investors, philanthropists, and academic institutions collaborating to accelerate impactful innovation in brain science. She is also scientific cofounder and Research Director for New Frontier Bio, a biotech company leveraging natural compounds for human health, and cofounder and President of Entrepreneur of Your Own Life (EYOL.org), a science and technology entrepreneurship program for low-income college students. Diana sits on the advisory boards of the OneMind Accelerator, Brain Futures, and RegenMed Systems. Formerly the Chief Innovation Officer for the Angiogenesis Foundation, Diana is an expert in creative communication of complex scientific concepts. She organizes international expert summits and conferences on scientific and medical topics and has developed science media in collaboration with labs at Harvard, MIT, Berkeley, NYU, and other top research institutions. Her creative work has been featured in the Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Nobel Museum in Stockholm, at TED conferences, and at the World Economic Forum.
Diana studied biochemical sciences at Harvard College and began her creative work as a scientific animator while pursuing a PhD in molecular and cellular biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She volunteers as Director of the Global Leadership Incubator, a partnership with the Dalai Lama which provides scholarship opportunities for exceptional Tibetan refugees, and she enjoys building elaborate forts with her two munchkins.
