Mark Dalio is the Founder and Creative Director of OceanX media, a production company with the mission to create world-class media that educates and inspires people to connect to the oceans. OceanX focus is to create compelling high quality content around the many new discoveries happening every day in our oceans. Mark believes now more than ever before is the time to shine a light on the people who are exploring this frontier and to bring the community together to celebrate our global connection with the oceans. Through his work and the work of OceanX he is excited to share the stories of these unique individuals, places and creatures that are making a difference to inspire and educate on the beauty, vastness and discoveries of what lies below and above the waves. The work has been featured in a wide range of media formats from tv shows to VR and Giant Screen. In 2015 BBC one aired David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef combining cutting edge scientific research alongside innovative filming techniques to give a perspective on the Great Barrier Reef that has never been seen before and unprecedented access to some of the most remote parts of the Reef and it’s magical residents and visitors. .
