Susan McMahon

Susan has been with TEDxSydney since 2015, first as Head of Operations, then General Manager. She will move into the CEO role in September 2022. Susan has been a management consultant for 30 years, including 8 years with Ernst & Young at the beginning of her career and almost 20 years as an independent consultant supporting a variety of corporate clients with IT, project and business management. Susan has worked in supply chain, manufacturing, insurance and financial industries across a wide variety of business functions, including software development, risk and compliance, business support and project management offices. Susan is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.

I am passionate about humanity and the power of curiosity to open minds and hearts to new ways of thinking and being. I enjoy working and collaborating with people and teams across a multitude of backgrounds, perspectives, and industries, as I believe each of us has something to contribute to conversations and solutions. It is through combining our strengths that we will go farther. Over the past few years, I have become more and more passionate about the need for the regeneration of our environment, societies, economies, democracies. I am not sure how we will get there, but I am convinced that we must.
