Bio
Throughout my career, I have strived to improve the efficacy of nonprofit organizations and education foundations through research, training, public education, and fundraising. I am the devoted mother of three wonderful boys and am most content in the company of family, friends, a good book, and a glass of wine!
I'm passionate about
knowing random acts of kindness.
An idea worth spreading
Albert Einstein:
“A human being…experiences himself, his thoughts and feelings as something separated from the rest…. This delusion is a kind of prison for us, restricting us to our personal desires and to affection for a few persons nearest to us. Our task must be to free ourselves from this prison by widening our circle of compassion to embrace all living creatures.”
The TED story
began in January, 2016 when I was invited to join a talented group of friends on a mission to bring a TEDx event to our neck of the woods! It was a journey like no other I've experienced to date and will be cherished forever. The camaraderie we shared through our passion and vision to make the event the best we could and to make our Lead Organizer's vision come to fruition was the only driving force we needed to seek the time, energy and devotion outside of our already busy schedules.
