Yoshiaki Kakuda

Yoshiaki Kakuda started his career with SystemSoft Corp in 1988 where he was responsible for product management for Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for SGI. He was also a manager in Apple Center. He founded Pencil, an R&D-oriented web consulting firm, in 1995. His clients includes LION, Megmilk Snow Brand, Kagome, Rinnai, All Nippon Airways, VeriSign Japan and Toyota Caelum. He helped multiply the sales of LION's online shop by 10 times in a year, another 10 times in the second year and in a 6 year period the sales had increased to 1500 times the original level. He is currently focusing on international business, and has founded offices in San Francisco in 2014 and Taiwan and 2015. With the help of his team, including former vice president of Google Inc. Norio Murakami, he founded the independent administrative corporation Pencil Inc. in Silicon Valley. １９８８年、システムソフトグループ入社。Adobe Illustrator、PhotoshopのSGIプロダクトマネージャーとApple Center Tenjinの主任を経て、１９９５年に研究開発型ウェブコンサルティング会社『ペンシル』を設立。 ライオン、雪印メグミルク、カゴメ、グリコ、リンナイ、全日本空輸、日本ベリサイン、トヨタケーラムなど多くの企業のウェブ戦略を成功に導く。ライオンのオンラインショップからの売上を１年で１０倍に２年目も１０倍で２年間で１００倍にし、そして、６年間で１５００倍にした。グローバルにも力を入れ、２０１４年から世界展開を行い、サンフランシスコ、台湾オフィスを設立。米国Google本社元副社長村上憲郎氏と一緒に米国独立法人としてPencil Inc.をシリコンバレーに設立しました。
