Bio
Barbara Isaksen is co-founder of Connected Women in AI, a volunteer-driven community of around 10,000 people working to bring more women into the conversation about AI, and into the work itself. Based in Denmark, she works at Microsoft and sits on the board of the Copenhagen Institute for Futures Studies.
Her work brings together organizational change, leadership and AI strategy. She helps leaders and teams adopt AI in ways that actually work for people, and she builds the communities, research and events that widen who gets a seat at the table. She speaks regularly on stage, on podcasts and in webinars about AI and leadership.
Barbara is part of the team behind TEDxFrederiksstaden Women, which brings TEDx back to Copenhagen in November 2026.
