Bio

Lucia is a project and operations leader with a background spanning technology, customer experience, education and entrepreneurship. She has led international teams and complex initiatives in the semiconductor and photonics industries, and founded an educational business for children in Eindhoven. Curious about why good ideas so often get stuck between intention and execution, Lucia is passionate about bringing clarity to complexity and helping people turn ideas into meaningful action. She currently volunteers as Event Manager at TEDxEindhoven, where she helps create experiences that bring people together around ideas worth sharing.

I'm passionate about

I am passionate about personal growth, lifelong learning and helping people see beyond the beliefs that hold them back. I love turning complexity into clarity, bringing people together and creating the conditions in which ideas can become meaningful action.

An idea worth spreading

People do their best work when they have clarity, ownership and the confidence to act. Yet we are often limited by our self-image and by beliefs inherited from our upbringing, culture and past experiences, beliefs we mistake for truth. By questioning them, we can see new possibilities and take the next meaningful step toward becoming who we choose to be.

Areas of expertise

Business Operations, Event Management, Project Management

The TED story

My TED story began years before I joined the team. I followed TED.com and attended TEDxEindhoven events, drawn to the power of one well-expressed idea to change how someone sees themselves or the world. In January 2026, I took the next step and joined TEDxEindhoven as a volunteer Event Manager. It brings together what energizes me most: meaningful ideas, human connection and turning ambitious plans into experiences that genuinely move people. TEDx also reminds me to remain curious, question what I assume to be true and stay open to perspectives very different from my own.

Things you might not know

People don’t know I am good at reading a room and connecting with people from very different backgrounds. I naturally make others feel welcome, bring people into the conversation and help create connections between them.
