CA Tripti Shinghal Somani is a dynamic Chartered Accountant, entrepreneur, investor, and women empowerment advocate recognized for driving transformative and inclusive growth initiatives. She is a Partner at K G Somani & Co LLP and the Founder of Womennovator, a global incubator for women that has empowered over 10,000 women-owned businesses through community enablement, incubation, mentorship, market access, and policy advocacy. She began her professional journey with global firms including PwC and Grant Thornton, building strong expertise in finance, advisory, and strategic consulting. She has played a pivotal role in securing landmark procurement interventions for women entrepreneurs and launching gender-responsive programs that integrate women vendors into corporate and institutional supply chains, creating measurable economic inclusion. Tripti serves on the Governing Council of the National Startup Advisory Council under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, ministry of commerce and is part of FICCI as Co-Chair, BRICS Women Business Alliance Working Group on Innovative Development. She has juried prestigious platforms, is a 3 times TEDx Speaker, and sponsored and hosted a panel at the World Economic Forum, Davos 2026. A recipient of accolades such as the Times 40 Under 40 and the UN Women India Award, she continues to mentor startups and influence policy conversations, championing gender-inclusive entrepreneurship and sustainable economic leadership at national and global levels. Her 3 per public procurement policy suggestion has led to impact of 15,000 crore procurement from women.

My TED story is about a belief that has shaped my journey: talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. Over the years, I have met countless women with incredible ideas, businesses and potential—yet many were held back not by a lack of capability, but by a lack of access to the right networks, markets, mentorship and opportunities. That realisation became the foundation of my work with Womennovator. My journey is about turning individual potential into collective progress—and creating ecosystems where women don't just get a seat at the table, but have the confidence, resources and platforms to build their own tables. My TED story is ultimately a story of possibility, inclusion and the power of creating opportunities for others.

Turning conversations into collaborations, ideas into action, and people into communities. I have a natural ability to connect the dots—between people, opportunities and possibilities—and create something much bigger than what any one person could build alone. I’m also surprisingly good at spotting potential in people before they see it in themselves.
