I am a Political Science student at Bilkent University with a strong interest in business, finance, entrepreneurship, and current affairs. I am also actively involved in TEDxBilkent, where I have taken on responsibilities in event organization, finance, and sponsorship. I enjoy meeting new people, building partnerships, and turning ideas into real projects. I am especially interested in the intersection of politics, business, leadership, and social impact.

I am passionate about entrepreneurship, finance, politics, current affairs, leadership, and building meaningful connections between people and organizations. I particularly enjoy working on projects where an idea starts from scratch and gradually becomes something real through teamwork, communication, and persistence.

Young people should not wait until graduation to start creating an impact. University is not only a place to study; it is also a place to experiment, build communities, take responsibility, meet different people, and turn ideas into action. I believe that even small initiatives can create meaningful change when people are willing to take the first step.

My TED journey began with TEDxBilkent. Being part of the team allowed me to experience TED not only as an audience member, but also from behind the scenes. I have worked on large-scale events, interacted with speakers and partners, and taken responsibilities ranging from event operations to finance and sponsorship. Over time, my role developed into a leadership position within the finance team. TEDx taught me that bringing an idea to thousands of people requires much more than what happens on stage: it requires teamwork, planning, creativity, and people who genuinely believe in the value of ideas.

People don’t always realize that I am good at reaching out to people and creating connections. I enjoy starting conversations, approaching organizations, finding common ground, and turning an initial contact into a meaningful opportunity. I am also good at staying involved in a project from the first idea to the final result, especially when teamwork, organization, and problem-solving are required.
