Bio

I'm a Full Stack Web Developer from Uruguay with a love for nature and life. I'm a music lover and a curious soul by nature. I enjoy learning new things, and I'm a keen baker.

I'm passionate about

I'm drawn to the sound of a guitar, the melodious songs of birds on a bright morning, and the cooing of doves by the brook. I also love the sound of waves crashing along the coast and the way they retreat, only to return with the same force. I find joy in watching the sunset and the orange hues it leaves across the sky for a few fleeting minutes. I feel at peace when admiring the brightness of the stars scattered across the firmament. I guess my passion is simply to live and appreciate nature. Nature is not the only art I admire; mankind's art is another joy of mine. I've always had a soft spot for music from the 60s onward, from The Beatles to Bon Jovi. Recently, I've been watching classic TV shows like Bonanza and Daniel Boone, which have sparked a fondness for traditional pop, country, and folk tunes. I've been listening to Ed Ames and Pernell Roberts a lot, still discovering new songs by them. I can't help but love the warmth and soul of those old songs and shows. I find beauty in Pachamama when I pause to behold the sea, the trees, and the sky, and listen to her music—from the chirping of a little sparrow and the babbling of a brook to the strumming of a guitar. In moments like these, I feel that this might be the kind of magic books talk about, and I feel at home. I also prefer meaningful conversations and pondering life's questions to monotonous small talk. I believe that looking at life this way helps us appreciate the time we have here, while always seasoning it with a good laugh and a lighthearted spirit.

An idea worth spreading

Respect life. Be grateful for what Mother Earth gives us. Help others and contribute to making the world a better place. Protect what matters and stand up for your convictions. Have a good sense of humor and live peacefully.

The TED story

I joined TED Translators because I wanted to gain experience in translation and contribute to something meaningful. I like being a bridge that helps make ideas worth spreading accessible to more people around the world. I'm interested in exploring localization, and I hope to eventually land a remote or freelance job in the tech field.
