Hi! Im Aldrina. An educator who loves and lives for art and design. I teach students about the same but in my own free time, i feed my creativity with one or the other form of art. I love creating, experimenting, exploring, failing and succeeding in the world of design and expression. i did my bachelors and masters, both, in the field of Media and Mass Communication. Talking to people, solving problems and helping out them in need has always been my goal wherever i am and with whatever i do. I work at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangalore, Karnataka-India. I started working here as a lecturer and worked my way up. today i serve as the Associate Dean of the School of Vocational Studies as well as The Head Of Department of Animation and Multimedia. Apart from educating, I'm also a co-founder of an Ai based company in the same city. I also mentor budding entrepreneurs and student initiatives by directing them towards the right form of funding and mentorship.

Im passionate about Art. Art and design have been my forte ever since my teenage days. Me and my friends used to run a business in our college days where we would design posters for other businesses and organisations and make money out of it. That business would not only help me earn a living by myself but also fuel the creative need within me. Im passionate about teaching. Whats the best way to express yourself, if not impart knowledge of others. At my institution, i teach students about animation and multimedia, less of notes and theory and more about expressing one's creative side. Im passionate about business. Whenever i get an opportunity, i always make sure to provide any kind of mentorship or assistance to those student led initiatives within our campus. t is a very fascinating field for me. Problem solving nd creatiove thiunking have always been those topis where i could prvide muy insights on and hence helpiong opthers would be my moral duty.

Art is not only about expressing one self's thoughts and expressions but to express it such that it paves the way for those who may seem stuck or confused in their lives. Ive always loved art, design, drawings, creativity and so much more . These forms have helped me express myself better than any other way but more than that it has helped me help those in need. Guide them through the walk of life and help them rise above their mistakes. And so i always tell people that if you see an opportunity to help someone else, that'll be the best use of your time and effort because maybe for you its just an act of service but for someone else, it maybe the life jacket they need when they feel they're drowning.

Tedx has been a part of me long before i was a part of tedx. My days start with inspirational Ted talks of survivors, educators, entrepreneurs and more. Even my notes are sometimes inspired by these talks. I would save a lot of inspirational talks o my phone and listen back to them every time i felt down or sad or just needed a kick of encouragement in my life. Last year when i was given an opportunity to co-organise tedx at the institution i work at, i couldn't let that opportunity slide. For the little girl who used to love tedx speakers, it really felt like a dream come true.
