Zaka Rehman

I am Zaka Ur Rehman, an academician currently serving as a Senior Lecturer in the English Faculty at Namal University, Mianwali. With over a decade of teaching experience, I have dedicated my career to higher education, language instruction, and linguistic research.My academic foundations include an M.Phil. in Applied Linguistics from The University of Lahore, completed in 2015. Advancing my expertise, I am pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Linguistics at Universiti Utara Malaysia. My research contributions address regional sociolinguistics and pedagogy, featuring peer-reviewed journal publications such as An exploration of teachers' code-switching: The case of English language classroom and The Status of Punjabi Language In The Province Of Punjab, Pakistan.Before joining Namal University in October 2022, I accumulated extensive pedagogical experience across multiple renowned institutions. I served as a university lecturer at the University of Okara and The University of Lahore, and worked as a visiting faculty member at the National University of Modern Languages (NUML) in Lahore. My early career also highlights roles as an IELTS instructor and English teacher. At Namal, I actively leverage my training to guide students through advanced English language and linguistics curricula.
