I'm a Communication student at Curtin University Mauritius and an international student from Madagascar. My journey in communication started early through journalism and storytelling. As a Jeune Reporter International (JRI), I had the opportunity to explore media, report on meaningful topics, and contribute to projects that highlighted real stories and real people. These experiences strengthened my passion for communication and showed me the impact that stories can have when they are shared effectively. Today, I continue to develop my skills through academic studies and practical experiences, with a particular interest in digital communication, content creation, media production, and audience engagement. Whether behind a camera, managing social media, or helping connect people through events, I'm driven by the belief that communication has the power to inform, inspire, and bring communities together.

I'm passionate about storytelling through visual media. Filming is one of the few activities where I completely lose track of time. Whether it's planning a shoot, capturing moments, or editing content, I enjoy every part of the creative process. I love the challenge of transforming ideas into stories that people can see, feel, and connect with. Beyond the technical aspects of production, I am fascinated by the power of communication to create understanding and spark conversations. I enjoy discovering different perspectives, meeting new people, and finding creative ways to share experiences that matter. For me, communication is more than a field of study, it's a way of connecting people, cultures, and ideas.

Human potential is often limited less by a lack of resources than by the lack of permission we give ourselves. We often wait until we feel more experienced, more qualified, or more legitimate before taking action. Yet many of the innovations, businesses, and movements that have changed the world were started by people who did not have all the answers from the beginning. I believe that everyone has the ability to create meaningful impact when they turn curiosity into action. Small initiatives, pursued consistently, can lead to extraordinary outcomes. The idea I would like to spread is simple: don't wait until you're ready to begin. Begin, and you will become ready along the way.

I have always wanted to be part of a TEDx event because of the inspiring ideas, meaningful conversations, and passionate people that TED brings together. The opportunity came when my Head of Faculty at Curtin University Mauritius told me about the TEDx event organized by Sahana Jafer in Mauritius on June 26. I immediately applied because I knew it was an opportunity I did not want to miss. Being part of the TEDx team allowed me to contribute to both communication and audience engagement. I supported social media activities, helped promote the event, and worked on client service responsibilities, including ticket sales and attendee interactions. This experience gave me a unique behind-the-scenes perspective on what it takes to bring a TEDx event to life. More importantly, it reinforced my passion for communication and reminded me of the power of ideas to connect and inspire people.

People are often surprised to learn that I'm particularly good at connecting ideas from different fields and turning them into actionable opportunities. I enjoy making sense of complex situations, identifying patterns, and transforming abstract concepts into practical projects. Learning new subjects quickly and finding creative solutions to unexpected challenges comes naturally to me. More than anything, I love building, whether it's businesses, teams, communities, or bridges between people and ideas.
