Bio

I see my professional life as a bridge. It stands on three pillars: languages, marketing and continuous learning. And what holds that bridge together is passion. Twenty years ago, that passion led me into the translation industry. I studied translation in Ukraine and founded Translators Family, a company that helps organisations reach multilingual audiences through translation and conference interpreting. More recently, I discovered a new passion for marketing and communication. That is why I completed a second degree in Edinburgh this year and started a new chapter in my career. I became increasingly interested in how people build trust, explain their value and create stronger relationships through clear communication, deep listening and meaningful stories. Sharing ideas is now becoming central to this new journey. I have started creating videos and delivering talks at conferences where I explore communication, trust, confidence and professional growth. Together with a friend, I am also preparing a business growth, marketing and sales programme for colleagues in the translation industry.

An idea worth spreading

Some people stay quiet not because they have nothing to say, but because they do not yet trust the voice they have to say it with. I want the audience to leave with this shift: instead of asking, “Do I sound confident enough?”, we can start asking, “What do I want this person to understand, feel or remember?” The core of my talk is this: we learn to trust our voice when communication stops being self-protection and becomes connection. This is an idea worth sharing because many voices are lost before a conversation even begins. Some people hold back because they are shy. Some because they speak with an accent. Some because they are new to a place, changing career, rebuilding confidence, or trying to be seen as professional before they feel fully established. The reason may be different, but the feeling is often the same: “Maybe my voice is not ready yet.” I want to challenge that belief. Confidence in communication is not only a personality trait that belongs to natural speakers. It can be built through clearer messages, better listening, meaningful stories and repeated moments where we use our voice before it feels ready.
