Bio
Hey, I'm Rohith, someone who genuinely loves bringing people together and making things happen for communities. Right now I'm the Co-production and Experience Manager for TEDx Leith 2026 in Edinburgh, where I help turn an idea, Alchemy: the art of transformation, into a real, lived experience for an audience.
Before this, I've been deeply involved in community and nonprofit work through Enactus and Rotaract, working with people on the ground, helping them navigate challenges, build skills, and find their footing. That's always been the thread running through everything I do, whether it's organising events, leading projects, or just showing up for the people around me.
I also happen to have an MSc in Cyber Security from the University of Edinburgh, but at the heart of it, I'm a people person who cares about impact.
I'm passionate about
People and the communities they build. Creating spaces physical or digital where everyone feels like they belong. Nonprofit work that actually moves the needle. Live experiences that spark something in a room. And honestly, just the everyday work of helping people navigate life a little more confidently.
An idea worth spreading
When you help someone understand their world a little better, you give them something no one can take away. That's what communities and ideas are really for.
The TED story
TEDx Leith is where I first stepped into the TED world, and it felt like a natural fit. I've spent a lot of my life around people-centred work Enactus, Rotaract, community projects so being part of an event built around ideas that change lives felt right. This year's theme, Alchemy, really captures what I've always believed: that the right environment, the right people, and the right ideas can transform something ordinary into something meaningful.
