empowering others. Whether it's through providing people a platform to share their ideas in or aiding them in gaining the resources they need to attain their goal, it is something I'm always eager to do! Everyone has their own special story to tell in their own unique way which they all deserve the chance to share. I first joined TEDxBritishSchoolManila's finance team two years ago; the following year, I joined the speakers team. It was such an enriching experience for me, wherein I had the opportunity to learn about the fundraising process to support the event, as well as help recruit speakers who highlight various topics. Through this experience, I developed a deep admiration for all the hard work and dedication that goes into organising these inspiring events. The enjoyment I derived from the past two years on the finance and speakers teams is what prompted me to wish to contribute once more this year.
