I am currently the Principal of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's RK Sarda Vidya Mandir Raipur. I have been an educator for over 22 years across multiple geographies in India. I am a passionate computer science teacher, who loves to see technology being integrated into school set ups. I am a strong advocate for mindful integration of technology. I also enjoy seeing ideas being moulded, and then spread - something that the TED platform is absolutely brilliant at doing! I am also an Instructional Leader, CBSE Resource Person, Trainer, Microsoft Certified Professional and Google Certified Educator

Technology and technology integration. I love delving in the field of technology, exploring new AI tools and just immersing myself in the world of technology at every level possible.

That technology integration in itself is not sufficient at a school level. This does not empower educators and learners. If we really want empowerment, then this can only be achieved by ensuring that educators and learners have the ability to think and iterate with technology. This skill is more important than anything else.

Prior to taking over as the Principal of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's RK Sarda Vidya Mandir Raipur, I was the Vice Principal of the School. My school actually runs one of the longest continuously running TEDxYouth events in this part of India - TEDxBVB Raipur Youth. In the capacity of one of the main members of the organizing committee of the event over the past 3 years, I have seen how this concept has transformed students of the school making them better speakers, more confident individuals, and ideators as well. Students from younger grades now aspire to speak on the platform and have started working on different ideas so that they potentially get a chance as they grow older. It has been a very powerful concept that we hope to take forward over the coming years as well. In the last event, we were also able to include speeches by speakers in local languages like Chhattisgarhi. This has totally transformed their confidence and personality in many ways. I have seen the power TEDxYouth events, and TED in general - I love watching TED videos in all subject areas and on many topics. I hope to potentially take the 6th edition of TEDxBVB Raipur Youth forward in the capacity of the core organizer this year.
