Bio
I am a medical student from Kathmandu, Nepal, driven by the belief that medicine extends far beyond hospitals and prescriptions. I see healthcare as a bridge between science and humanity, where compassion, communication, and leadership are just as important as clinical knowledge.
Outside academics, I actively engage in community service, youth leadership, and initiatives that encourage collaboration and positive social impact. These experiences have taught me that meaningful change begins when people choose to serve others with empathy and purpose.
I am fascinated by the intersection of medicine, technology, education, and social innovation. Whether it's working with communities, organizing impactful events, or exploring new ideas, I enjoy creating opportunities that inspire people to think differently and act responsibly.
I believe every conversation has the potential to spark change, and every individual has the ability to make a lasting difference when guided by curiosity, compassion, and a commitment to lifelong learning.

An idea worth spreading
Healthcare is not built solely inside hospitals—it is built in classrooms, communities, homes, and conversations.
We often think innovation requires groundbreaking technology, but some of the most transformative changes begin with empathy, education, and the willingness to listen. Every person, regardless of their profession, has the capacity to improve someone's well-being by fostering understanding, kindness, and informed decision-making.
A healthier society begins when we stop seeing health as the responsibility of healthcare professionals alone and start recognizing it as a shared responsibility of every community member.

The TED story
I've always been fascinated by understanding how things work—whether it's the intricate complexity of the human body, the engineering that allows an aircraft to defy gravity, or the universal language of music that connects people beyond words.
As a medical student, I've learned that medicine is not just a science of treating disease; it's a discipline rooted in empathy, curiosity, and the privilege of being part of someone's journey through life's most vulnerable moments. At the same time, my fascination with aviation reminds me that every great achievement begins with countless small principles working together in perfect harmony. Music, especially playing the guitar, has taught me patience, creativity, and the importance of listening—lessons that extend far beyond a melody.
Outside the classroom, volunteering and youth leadership have introduced me to people whose stories have reshaped the way I understand resilience, service, and purpose. Those experiences have reinforced a simple belief: knowledge has its greatest impact when it is shared with compassion.
To me, TED represents the meeting point of curiosity and action—a place where diverse ideas spark meaningful conversations and inspire change. I hope to contribute to that spirit by sharing perspectives that connect medicine, science, technology, creativity, and leadership, encouraging others to embrace curiosity, think beyond boundaries, and recognize that some of the most transformative ideas emerge where different passions intersect.
