Student

I am a second-year high school student at Erzurum Lisesi in Turkey, with a primary academic focus on physics and a long-term goal of studying physics engineering before moving into quantum technology research and, eventually, founding a company built around it. My curiosity extends beyond physics into biology and philosophy, and rather than treating these as separate interests, I have tried to formalize them through TÜBİTAK's national research programs: I completed two independent projects under the 2204-A research competition, one in philosophy and one in physics, along with a further project on magnetism through the 4006-B science fair program, and I have also served as a student staff member supporting the organization of TÜBİTAK-affiliated events. I have sought out exposure to research and academic life beyond high school wherever possible. Through a science project affiliated with Atatürk University, I gained hands-on exposure to experimental research methodology, including animal-model studies. I have also participated in Atatürk University's Model United Nations program and in ATA-SOFT, the university's student-run technology and software community. Outside the classroom, I currently serve as President of the Erzurum Youth Center, where I also lead its theater branch and have directed several of its productions, in addition to performing as an actor with the Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality City Theater at the İbrahim Erkal Cultural Center. Building on this experience in organizing and leading groups, I am currently working to bring both a Model United Nations conference and a TEDx event to Erzurum Lisesi, aiming to introduce both formats to the school for the first time. Alongside this, I play the violin, paint on canvas, and am writing a novel titled "Alina'ya Mektuplar" ("Letters to Alina"). I am continuing to strengthen my English in preparation for university-level study abroad. I welcome connections with anyone working in physics, quantum technology, or early-stage science ventures.
