Barış | Director of Photography & Visual Communication Designer ​Barış is an Istanbul-based visual communication designer and director of photography. He built his foundation studying Graphic Design and Photography at Istanbul Ticaret Odası and is currently pursuing his degree in Visual Communication Design at Kent University. ​At the core of his production philosophy lies a free spirit who creates "art for art's sake" and chooses to live the art itself. He embraces abstract and cultural maximalism in his design approach, balancing that enthusiastic and pure "amateur spirit" with meticulous attention to detail in his work. ​Taking on independent freelance projects internationally and showcasing his artistic creations at the ArtContact contemporary art fair, Barış most recently spearheaded the visual operations for the TEDx Biruni University event. As the Director of Photography (DoP), he directed the stage aesthetics, lighting design, and the multi-camera coordination of a 6-person crew.
