An idea worth spreading
Alveus sanctuary is a nonprofit organisation founded by Maya Higa that functions as a wildlife sanctuary and as a virtual education center facility to provide permanent homes to non-releasable animal ambassadors.
The TED story
I have attended a TEDx event before, and ever since then, I’ve been deeply inspired by the power of ideas and storytelling. Recently, I watched Maya Higa’s TED Talk on wildlife conservation, and it motivated me even more to appreciate how impactful a single talk can be. Currently, I’m proud to be part of TEDx BIC Karachi as a member of the Executive Board, serving as the IT Officer. Being involved behind the scenes and contributing to an event that spreads meaningful ideas has been an exciting and rewarding experience for me.
