Caryn Porritt

Caryn Porritt is a graphic designer and strategic lead based in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, South Africa. She began her career in the high-stakes world of pharmaceutical design, working on global brands such as GlaxoSmithKline and Pfizer, before expanding her portfolio to include industry leaders like Cisco Systems, Symantec, and Vespa. Bringing this wealth of marketing and design expertise to The Inky Shop, Caryn joined her husband in scaling the business into a reputable national retail and e-commerce brand. Beyond her professional practice, she is a dedicated community leader, having served six years as the SGB Chairlady at Laddsworth Primary School. As the Lead Organizer for TEDxHilton, Caryn’s work is guided by the belief that building a brand begins with the person and the values they live by. To her, authenticity is defined by consistency—both in the deliverables at every touchpoint and in the daily human commitment to being reliable, trustworthy, and simply doing the right thing.
