Real change does not always start with big institutions or extraordinary resources. It can start with ordinary people who decide to take responsibility for the challenges around them. TED has always inspired me to look beyond my own experience and learn from ideas, people, and stories from around the world. My interest in TEDx grew from a desire to bring that spirit of ideas worth spreading closer to my community in Sudan (Gedaref) and create a platform where local voices, experiences, and solutions can be heard.
