Assist. Prof. Dr. Mariya Videva is a UI/UX designer, lecturer at New Bulgarian University, and researcher focused on digital interfaces, algorithmic environments, and artificial intelligence. Her work explores the intersection of design, technology, and human behavior, with a particular interest in how digital platforms reshape the way people experience information, time, and interaction online. Alongside her academic work, she is involved in international projects related to UX/UI design, AI, and design systems.

I’m passionate about the intersection of design, technology, psychology, and artificial intelligence. My work explores how UX/UI design influences human behavior, digital habits, and perception in contemporary algorithm-driven environments. I also enjoy teaching, mentoring young designers, and building meaningful digital experiences that combine functionality with emotional impact.

In the age of algorithms and artificial intelligence, interfaces are no longer just tools — they shape the way we think, feel, behave, and experience time itself. Design has the power not only to simplify technology, but also to make digital experiences more human, ethical, and emotionally aware.
