Bio
Emrah Öztürk completed his undergraduate degree in the Department of Philosophy at Atatürk University in 2017. Since August 2020, he has been working as a Philosophy and Sociology Teacher at Bilkent Erzurum Laboratory High School.
Öztürk approaches philosophy not merely as an academic discipline, but as a way of questioning, thinking, and making sense of the world. He leads philosophy clubs, interactive activities, student-led publishing initiatives, and interdisciplinary projects designed to foster students’ critical and creative thinking skills. His particular areas of interest include ethics, moral philosophy, freedom, justice, and the human search for meaning.
Married and a father of one daughter, Öztürk views teaching as a responsibility to nurture young people who can think independently, question deeply, and articulate their own ideas.
I'm passionate about
The Desire to Discover and Childlike Curiosity
An idea worth spreading
Modern life constantly pushes us toward “more”: more work, more consumption, more speed. Yet the fundamental code of the universe and of life itself is balance.
When we lose that balance, nature responds with the climate crisis, our bodies with illness, and our minds with burnout. Success is not about keeping up with everything; it is about finding harmony between work and life, technology and nature, ambition and peace.
Saving the future does not begin with running endlessly, but with learning when and where to stand. Life is a tightrope walk; choose balance, and you can begin to heal both yourself and the world.
