As a Founder, I am mission focused on developing profitable solutions with global impact. I split time between Montana and the high desert of New Mexico. The pioneering spirit of these exquisite places inspires me to create in service. My son will inherit a world that needs more electrons, not fewer - and the waste filling landfills everyday holds part of the answer. I've spent nearly two decades wildcatting the above-ground carbon in waste to extract energy without combustion. Through seemingly endless trial and error, we have commercialized our modular pyrolysis platform (high heat in the absence of oxygen) to convert organic waste at landfills + biomass into 24/7 baseload power and biocarbon. Why is it baseload? Waste never stops going to landfills. We are now deploying at scale: landfills owned by the largest environmental services companies, wildfire mitigation solutions for federal, state and private lands, plus distributed power projects throughout N.America.

Impact, innovation, solving hard problems at scale

Diverted organics away from landfills can produce 1GW+ of clean baseload power by 2030
