Prabhat Sinha

I am the founder of Mann Deshi Champions a sports nonprofit in India. I grew up in a nomadic tribal village in rural Maharashtra India, I am an Athlete turned sports agent in the US and now run a sports nonprofit called Mann Deshi Champions in rural India. Started India's first playground movement called Maidan Cup, where communities come together to make their own playground. We give access to play, over 200,000 children get coaches daily through our program, Over 2000 trainers have been trained as coaches, over 1000 athletes have secured jobs and are first breadwinners of their families.

I started as an athlete from rural India, then made my way up to become a sports agent in the US, worked with NBA athletes and brands for six years. Realised that there are millions of rural children in India, don't get an opportunity to play sports and have joy, so started Mann Deshi Champions. Also started India's first sports playground movement called Maidan Cup, where communities built their own playground, with world famous cricketer Sachin Tendulkar. As for hobbies I love writing and hiking.
