Bio
I am a Business and Law University student with a strong interest in brand alignment and strategy. I was part of the Sponsorship and Partnership for TEDxTUDublin 2026. I worked on securing and managing sponsor relations, developing propositions and securing our speaker lineup. Throughout this experience, I developed strong skills in translating ideas into valuable opportunities.
I'm passionate about
Spreading ideas that challenge people to step outside their comfort zones and experience something new. I believe real growth comes from actively seeking unfamiliar environments, engaging with different perspectives, and being open to change. I’m constantly trying to better myself by learning from others; their stories, skills, and experiences and using those insights to broaden how I think and act.
The TED story
My TEDx experience was shaped by being exposed to ideas and perspectives I had never really considered before. Working closely with speakers, I had the opportunity to learn not just from their talks, but from their personal journeys, insights, and the way they think.
I didn’t expect to have an opportunity like this during university, but as soon as I came across it, I knew I had to be involved. Being part of the partnerships and sponsorship team allowed me to engage with a wide range of people, from speakers to sponsors, and see how an event like TEDx comes together behind the scenes.
What stood out most was the chance to build genuine connections, getting to know speakers on a personal level while supporting them through the process, and learning from everyone involved. The experience has significantly deepened my interest in TEDx and reinforced how powerful it is to hear and share meaningful ideas.
Things you might not know
Communicating effectively with both speakers and sponsors, and managing relationships across the entire lifecycle of an event; from contractual obligations through to event-day execution. I’m confident navigating both the commercial side (agreements, deliverables, expectations) and the human side, such as supporting speakers, managing nerves, and ensuring they feel prepared and comfortable. I work best in fast-paced environments where I can maintain professionalism while creating a positive, high-performing atmosphere for everyone involved.
