About Ayush

I am a…

Brainstormer, Event planner, Explorer, Foodie

Bio

I'm someone who genuinely enjoys the hard, messy parts of putting things together — the planning, the problem-solving, the moving pieces that need to come together just right. That's taken me from leading sponsorships to now directing TEDxSGTBKC, where I get to shape ideas into something real and put them on stage. What drives me most is people. I love building teams, managing them, and figuring out how to get everyone pulling in the same direction toward something bigger than themselves. There's nothing quite like watching a plan come together because the right people made it happen. Outside of events, you'll usually find me watching football — I love the strategy of it, the way a team works together to create something greater than any one player.

I'm passionate about

There's a particular kind of satisfaction in that — the slow click of things falling into place after they've refused to for a while. That passion shows up most clearly in how I think about people. I don't just see a team as a group getting a job done — I see it as a set of different strengths waiting to be pointed in the right direction. I'm passionate about learning what makes someone good at what they do, and then building around that instead of against it. A well-led team, to me, isn't one that follows instructions well — it's one that starts thinking for itself.

An idea worth spreading

I don't think an idea becomes powerful the moment someone has it. It becomes powerful the moment someone else hears it, sits with it, and can't quite let it go. That's the gap I care about — the space between a thought in someone's head and a room full of people leaning forward because of it. Closing that gap is, quietly, the hardest part of any event. It's not the lighting or the logistics. It's making sure the idea actually lands.

Areas of expertise

and then getting out of their way. A team I lead tends to feel less managed and more trusted., Event Planning & Execution — I'm comfortable holding the big picture and the smallest detail at the same time. From structuring a timeline to handling the things that go wrong on the day itself, I've learned that execution is really just planning that refuses to panic. Team Building & Leadership — I lead by understanding people first and assigning tasks second. I'm good at spotting what someone's naturally strong at, putting them there

Things you might not know

Most people know me for managing, planning, and pulling things together — but what they don't always see is how much I enjoy being a complete beginner. I genuinely love learning new things, especially ones that have nothing to do with what I already know. There's a certain thrill in being bad at something on day one and slowly, stubbornly getting better at it. I don't learn things to add them to a list — I learn them because not knowing something feels like an itch I need to scratch.
