Bio
The Centre of Intelligence of Things (CIoTh) is an interdisciplinary research centre in University of Greater Manchester dedicated to advancing the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the Internet of Things (IoT). The Centre focuses on designing intelligent, connected systems that combine smart sensing technologies with machine learning and data-driven decision-making. Its research spans embedded AI, edge and cloud intelligence, cybersecurity for IoT systems, explainable and trustworthy AI, and predictive analytics, with applications across healthcare, education, smart environments, and industrial automation.
CIoTh adopts an applied and collaborative research model, working closely with academic partners and industry stakeholders to develop scalable, real-world solutions.
