I’m Colombian. I left my corporate career because after being part of the Teach For All network, I couldn’t feel comfortable in any job that didn’t reach beyond profit. Driven by my love for technology, education, and social impact, I founded La Teacher — a platform that helps social impact organizations transform their educational content into WhatsApp conversations, designed around the literacy levels and real contexts of the people they serve. No apps to download. No passwords to forget. Just learning, where people already are. More than 30,000 people have accessed content through La Teacher, with course completion rates 3x the average of other e-learning platforms. Right now, I’m building La Teacher Academia — a WhatsApp-based learning experience focused on women, designed to close the digital and economic gaps that still hold so many back. An Acumen Fellow and Industrial Engineer by training, I believe technology is only as powerful as its reach — and that reach has to be intentional. At home, I’m mom to Juan (5) and Joaquín (3), who remind me daily why the future is worth fighting for. I’m also deeply spiritual — a Catholic who takes seriously Jesus’ most important commandment: that love is the answer, always.
