Bio
ZainEdeen Zyadah is a driven fifth-year medical student with a dedicated focus on Internal Medicine and Cardiology. At 20 years old, he passed the USMLE Step 1, placing him among the <1% youngest passers worldwide and is now preparing for USMLE Step 2 CK. He aims to secure a U.S. Internal Medicine residency, pursue a Cardiology fellowship, and complete U.S. clinical electives to broaden his clinical exposure.
As a junior researcher, Zain has honed his expertise across a spectrum of research designs including case–control studies, retrospective cohort analyses, case reports, cross-sectional surveys, and review articles and is currently mastering systematic review methodology. His dedication to evidence-based medicine was recognized with the Best Oral Presentation Award in Medicine at the 7th Undergraduate Research Conference, underscoring his commitment to advancing clinical knowledge.
Within the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA), he has served as National Research Exchange General Assistant, Local Officer on Research Exchange (LORE), and International Professional and Research Exchange Training (PRET) Facilitator. He founded the Professional and Research Exchange Capacity Building 2025 (PRExCB25), the first capacity-building event at his university, and contributes to the Mariam Doctors Program in Mariam’s Foundation, leading community outreach and educational campaigns to raise cancer awareness.
Zain is the Co-Founder and Internal President of the Cardiology Interest Group of Jerusalem (CARDIG-Jerusalem), a student-led initiative officially recognized by Al-Quds University. Through CARDIG-Jerusalem, he organizes symposia, journal clubs, and hands-on skills workshops in cardiovascular medicine. He welcomes research collaborations, clinical electives, and mentorship opportunities to further advance patient care and innovation in cardiology.
