Leslie Scott

Business adviser, Designer, Entrepreneur, Inventor, Writer/Editor

I was born in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania, and was raised and educated in Kenya, Sierra Leone, and England. I am a professional game designer and have devised and published almost 40 games over the past 30 years. These include UK best sellers Ex Libris, Anagram, and Bookworm, as well as the global blockbuster game, Jenga, which I created and took to market in 1982. In 2010, I wrote and published 'About Jenga; the remarkable business of creating a game that became a household name'. I now live in Oxford and Kenya with my husband, the zoologist, Fritz Vollrath, and our two children.
