I began working on the Cajon Valley Union School District in 2020. I was hired as a Graphic designer in their print & duplicating department. It was an remarkable time to begin a new chapter in my life as covid was present and on the rise. Initially everything that I designed was covid related. I was printing social-distancing floor decals by the thousands. It was monotonous to say the least. Soon, I recieved word about our district's TedXKids event, and how impactful it was on our students and faculty. Unfortunately, it was scaled back that year too minimize such a large gathering of people and live-streamed through zoom. I didn't understand the magnitude of this event till the following years. Since, I've been apart of the design and production of every one of our TedXKidsElCajon events. My role involves design and production of print advertising waypoint signage, stage design and apparel. Our event continues to grow, become more elaborate and provide a platform for our student's voices to be heard.
