I am passionate about creating opportunities, building communities, and turning ideas into meaningful action. As a student and youth leader, I actively engage in leadership, entrepreneurship, social initiatives, and youth development. I enjoy bringing people together, building teams, organizing impactful platforms, and creating spaces where young people can learn, connect, and grow. Through my experiences in leading youth initiatives and organizing large-scale projects, I have learned that meaningful change begins with an idea but it becomes real when people have the courage to act on it. I believe in learning by doing, leading with purpose, and creating opportunities not only for myself but also for the people around me.

I believe that young people from regional and non-metropolitan universities can become global changemakers if they are given the right platform, mentorship, and trust. My idea focuses on how localized student initiatives can create global impact by nurturing leadership, collaboration, and purpose-driven innovation at the grassroots level.

I am MD Elias, a second-year student at Rangamati Science and Technology University, studying Tourism and Hospitality Management. From the very beginning of my university journey, I realized that leadership is not about a title, but about creating opportunities for others to grow. I started by taking on roles like Campus Director of the Hult Prize at RMSTU and Campus Ambassador at DUEDC, where I organized events, mentored students, and built communities. Each challenge taught me that ideas have power—but only when they are shared, nurtured, and acted upon. My TED story is about empowering youth to transform ideas into action, even in places where resources are limited. I’ve seen firsthand how students, when given a platform, can solve real problems, lead initiatives, and create impact beyond their campus. I want to inspire others to believe that no idea is too small to make a difference, and that leadership starts with courage, collaboration, and vision. Through TEDx, I hope to share the message that every young person has the potential to become a changemaker, and that the spark of innovation often begins with taking that first bold step.
